Our First Community Gathering at Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park, Mission Beach

It’s been an exciting few months here at Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park in Mission Beach, and we’re thrilled to share a little update from around the park. As new owners, we’ve been working hard to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for our guests and our local community — and this month, we hosted our very first community gathering to celebrate our first three months in Mission Beach.

A Warm Afternoon With Guests and Local Neighbours at Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park

The gathering was a relaxed meet-and-greet, bringing together guests staying in the park, neighbours from around Mission Beach, and even our local councillor Trudy Tschui who kindly dropped by. It was the perfect chance to share good food, swap travel stories, and enjoy the tropical surroundings that make Mission Beach such a special place.

For us, the day wasn’t just a celebration — it was a wonderful reminder of why we love being part of this community. Hearing guests talk about their road trips, long stays, adventures and plans for the Wet Season made the afternoon feel incredibly rewarding.

Building a Friendly Community Here in Mission Beach

Since taking over Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park, one of our biggest goals has been to create a place that feels relaxed, personal, and connected. Events like this help bring people together and strengthen the friendly environment we’re proud of.
